Welcome to the Fremont Middle School Library Media Center
The library media program strives to empower learners through creative inquiry, lifelong reading, purposeful research, and ethical use of information.
The library media website is for school community use to access a wide variety of resources to support learning standards, curriculum, and interests. The library media program promotes lifelong learning and student achievement with emphasis on reading, use of information and ideas, and content creation for the global audience. Students learn how to access, use, and evaluate resources; become independent seekers and creators of knowledge, and become socially responsible digital citizens.
In addition to over 8,000 volumes and 10 periodical subscriptions, we provide several online databases and complete Internet access.
Book and magazine checkout is for two weeks. Hours: 7:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m., (Monday-Friday)
Staff:
Leah Dicke, Library Media Specialist
Sharon Green, Secretary
Libby Brettmann, Aide
Mary Oshel, AV Coordinator
