Facilities Management
From The Director
The Facilities Management Department is responsible in providing services for the day-to-day operations for the Fremont Public Schools. The services include: All maintenance related items with the buildings and grounds, custodial services, heating/ventilation/air quality, emergency response to building issues, snow removal, delivery of supplies and equipment to the sites, purchasing of required cleaning supplies and equipment, setting up all items for special events, maintaining/preparing athletic fields/competition facilities for events, waste removal, providing services for other organizations that use FPS facilities, security of buildings, remodeling of facilities, specifying/bidding of all new construction projects, delivery of interschool/US mail and other tasks as assigned.
The FPS Facilities Management Department primary job is to provide quality services to help enhance the learning environments for students and staff. This is accomplished by the dedication of 40 full time employees, 9 part-time employees and other contracted services as needed.
